PE Twice Foaming Press Machine

Eva Secondary Foaming Machine is used for high rate foaming of EVA, PE, EPDM, SBR rubber and plastic materials.(Expansion rate:25-45 times). It's a kind of Rubber And Plastic Foaming Machine. Normally this machine works after EVA Foaming Machine.

The production process of EVA foam mainly includes the following steps:

1. Raw material preparation: Mix ethylene (E) and vinyl acetate (VA) in a certain proportion to form ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) particles, which are the basic raw materials for EVA foam. At the same time, according to the specific needs of the product, appropriate amounts of foaming agents, stabilizers, lubricants, coloring agents and other auxiliary materials will be added to improve the performance and appearance of the foam.

2. Material mixing: Put the prepared EVA particles and various auxiliary materials into a mixer or blender for thorough mixing, so that each component is evenly distributed and forms a uniformly mixed material. This process requires controlling parameters such as mixing speed, time, and temperature to ensure the quality of the material.

3. Melt extrusion: The mixed material is fed into an extruder, where it is heated and melted under high temperature and the shearing action of the screw, and extruded into continuous sheets or strips. The temperature, pressure, and extrusion speed parameters of the extruder need to be precisely adjusted according to the characteristics of the material and the requirements of the product.

4. Foaming: The molten material coming out of the extruder enters the foaming machine, and under specific process conditions such as temperature, pressure, and time, the foaming agent rapidly decomposes inside the material to produce a large amount of gas, causing the material to expand and form foam. The foaming process is a key link in the production of EVA foam, which directly affects the density, porosity, and performance of the foam.

5. Cooling and shaping: The foamed EVA foam is quickly cooled by a cooling device to stabilize its structure and properties, preventing further expansion or deformation of the foam. The cooling method can be water cooling, air cooling, or other cooling methods, depending on the requirements of the production equipment and products.

6. Cutting and trimming: Cut and trim the cooled EVA foam according to the size and shape requirements of the product, remove excess parts, and make the foam achieve the specified size and shape accuracy. Cutting can be done using mechanical cutting, laser cutting, or water cutting methods.
